Today is a great day! The hubs and I get to go to
a welcome home party for our neighbor who is just back
from A YEAR in Iraq. His wife Viv is one of my besties and
I know she is over the moon to have him home.
He told me it was so hot there he felt like he had been standing
with his face in an exhaust pipe the whole time! HA!
So that is one more soldier (sailor actually) who is back home
safe and sound. Let's put one in the win column...
and then let's take a second to remember all those still waiting to come
home and those who never will.
That sounds awesome! A big thanks to your neighbor for his work. I hope you guys have a great time and that the soldier eases back into normal life. What a great story!
